**Responsibilities**:

- Technology analysis, evaluation and reporting;
- Analyze renewable technologies based on sound scientific principles (includes renewables, hydrogen, energy storage, CCSU, and zero-carbon energy generation)
- Contextualize technology analyzed into the Sembcorp ecosystem
- Comparison and benchmarking with current and technologies under development
- Conduct technological and market landscape analysis and scanning for companies and institutions involved in various technology areas (for foresight analysis)
- Assess market potential and cost benefit analysis of shortlisted technologies or companies
- Monitoring technologies and developments in the aforementioned space
- Maintenance and continuous improvements on the database system and management
- Support business strategies and new capability development
- Liaise with external and internal parties
- Interface between startups / technology providers / Institutes of Higher Learning or Research Institutes and Sembcorp Markets, and to support on technical evaluations
- Propose technologies or companies for adoption and monitor the progress together with Sembcorp Markets
- Provide regular reports, updates and sharing with various internal stakeholders, and provide response to further queries / feedback
- Management of venture capital fund administrative matters, database and taskforce

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Engineering is preferred, where Masters and PhD degree is a plus
- Strong understanding of basic scientific principles
- Understanding of the industry landscape that Sembcorp operates in is desired
- Basic financial modelling skills is a plus

**Desirable Attributes**
- Experience in renewables or power sector is a plus
- Good written and spoken English
- Comfortable to handle large amounts of data
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Good communication skills, technical writing, and presentation skills
- Good team player and ability to work effectively with third party collaborators
