Job summary
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a strategic and creative thought leader, passionate about technology and the disruptive power of Asia Pacific and Japan Software & Technology Companies. We are looking for a DNB & ISV Community Lead to work within the APJ DNB & ISV leadership team, responsible for leading a team of passionate Amazonians who develop and execute scalable programs and initiatives focused on accelerating customer outcomes within the segments. Our customers are builders by design and often at the forefront of technical change and adoption. They include some of our region’s most performant success stories today such as Atlassian, Canva, Grab, Freshworks, Coupang, Nintendo and many others who will go on to be the next generation of globally recognized enterprises.
Software companies have a deeply engrained culture of driving innovation through networking and the sharing of learnings at peer level. 4 customer segments have been identified as a focus targets: CEOs/Founders, CFOs, Product Leaders and Technical (developers/software engineers/TDMs).
Community initiatives includes driving greater impact across APJ to sharing the learnings of our more mature customers who have extensive knowledge of the best practices and processes when it comes to AWS with other customer segments, as well as increasing AWS presence by various industry events. Main objective of the Community Lead will be to increase the mindshare of AWS within the DNB and ISV segments by leading and facilitating the Community initiatives across APJ.
This is a high visibility opportunity to improve and define the best way to solve problems using the power of your analysis, strategic skills and business acumen. You will be responsible for developing and owning a problem-solving methodology, considering the basis of accurate and relevant metric-driven analysis to foster continuous improvement and step-function innovation that will enhance customer experience.

**Key functions will include**:
Develop and execute the DNB & ISV Community strategy
Build and maintain successful partnerships with local, regional and global senior leadership, project managers, finance, legal, service teams, marketing and other relevant stakeholders
Work with and establish project teams, and ensure that all agreed strategic projects are progressing and delivering desired results on time and in budget, to include: process improvements, user experience, workflow improvements.
Proactively identify solutions to meet business objectives, taking into account the implications of change on the organisation and all stakeholders.
Use own initiative to develop or improve program or project management processes. Proven success in creatively solving problems and refining processes and procedures
Perform daily functions of the PMO, such as program planning, monitoring and status reporting against planned deliverables, benefits and milestones, resource and program tracking, development and management of risk, issue and action logs.
- Technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
