As the Director of Engineering, you will lead and inspire a team of talented engineers to build scalable, secure, and high-performing financial technology solutions. This pivotal leadership role involves managing day-to-day technical operations, shaping the architecture of complex systems, and driving strategic initiatives that align with business goals.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Leadership & Strategy**:

- Direct the planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact technology initiatives.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the engineering team.Partner with stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business objectives.

**Technology Oversight**:

- Oversee the development and maintenance of scalable, secure, and highly available systems and infrastructure.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in software engineering, DevOps, and cybersecurity.Stay ahead of technology trends, particularly in financial services, to maintain a competitive edge.

**Team Management**:

- Recruit, mentor, and retain top engineering talent.
- Establish performance benchmarks and provide guidance to drive excellence.Promote a diverse and inclusive work environment.

**Operational Excellence**:

- Manage engineering budgets, vendor relationships, and resource allocation.
- Monitor and improve system reliability and performance metrics.Champion compliance with regulatory standards and industry-specific protocols.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10+ years in software engineering or technology leadership roles, with at least 5 years in FinTech or a related industry.Proven track record of managing large-scale engineering teams and delivering complex technology projects.

**Skills**:

- Deep understanding of financial systems, payment gateways, APIs, cloud architecture, and microservices.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, Java, Kubernetes).
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
