We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **Senior Investment Manager.**

**Principal Responsibilities**
- As a senior member of the investment team at HSBC Life Singapore, the Senior Investment Manager will support the CIO to manage and enhance the investment portfolios of HSBC Life Singapore in order to achieve a strong and sustained investment performance. The Senior Investment Manager is required to ensure the investment portfolios are managed in accordance to Group and Regulatory requirements and regularly report the performance of the funds to internal stakeholders. The Senior Investment Manager will lead a team of investment professionals and is required to work closely with internal and external stakeholders in the execution of the investment strategy
- Manage and enhance the investment portfolios
- Oversee the investment activities of the outsourced fund managers
- Explore, identify and implement new investment strategies and asset classes
- Collaborate with the investment teams at Group Insurance and other HSBC Life entities on strategic initiatives and projects

Requirements

**Requirements**:

- Qualifications
- University graduate above with solid experiences in insurance and asset management industry
- Additional professional qualifications in Finance, Actuary or Investment such as CFA is a plus
- Understanding in insurance portfolios and ALM (Asset Liability Management) is preferred
- Understanding in investment operations and systems is preferred
- Knowledge and experience
- Minimum 12yr professional experience in portfolio management, analytics, investment processes, governance and oversight with insurance companies or insurance-linked asset management companies
- Understanding in derivatives, alternative investments is important consideration
- Familiar with derivatives such as FX forward, cross currency swap, CDS, IRS, equity options, total return swap
