Our Data Center Operations Team Manager is involved in the daily management of our current 6 data center facilities in the APAC region (Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong and Australia) and we are about to open 3 more data center locations in Singapore, Japan and Australia later this year.

This includes the deployment and support of hardware and hosting services for our end users.

As someone who can teach, coach and advise them, we believe that you are the right person to empower the team to deliver according to our high standards and planning. You will be working with a team of data center operations engineers and specialists who are excited about their job.

You are responsible for the overall performance and results of the team, and you coach and guide them on their competencies, create a tailor-made development plan for each team member and monitor their progress.

The work environment is dynamic and has an international character.

As a Data Center Operations Team Manager, you will work 8 hours a day Monday to Friday, between 7am a.m. to 6 p.m. On request, you have to start your workday early to support our operations in Australia and Japan and be on call when needed. You are the to go to person for our Data Center Operations Engineers and Specialists for escalations.

You will report to the Data Center Operations Director.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Responsible for developing, coaching and mentoring team members.
- As team manager responsible for performance appraisals.
- Bring the team to the next maturity level
- Build a high-performance team, and foster collaboration in and across teams.
- Improve processes in the company impacting the team Installation, relocation, and removal of server equipment at the data center.
- Responsible for the daily planning of the team based on work in progress, projects and customer tickets.
- Responsible for updating senior management with data reports on team performance

**Requirements**:

- At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience working in a data center and multiple years of management experience leading a team
- Coaching skills
- Facilitation and organization skills
- Effective communication skills (in English).
- Ability to travel internationally to other data centers, as needed.
