**Job description**

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for a full spectrum of shipping operations and documentations
- Handle shipment coordination with suppliers, buyers, ship brokers and ship owners/agent, surveyors, insurance company to ensure smooth loading and delivery
- Full sets of shipping documents including liaison with banks on letters of credit negotiations, **Documents against Acceptance**, and **Documents against Payments** Terms. Familiar with PORAM. This also includes liaising with various banks for getting new bank lines at the best competitive offer in the best interest of the Company and working closely on continuous improvement in terms of bank charges and facilities offered, availing the best discounting rate for issuance LCs, confirmation charges and get the best deal of the transaction in terms of bank charges and placement of fixed deposit.
- Being the main point of contact for the organization well connected to our Customers and Suppliers and liaising with them on a day-to-day basis.Ensure coverage of marine cargo insurances & charter’s liabilities for all shipments
- Work closely with traders, counterparties, and other stakeholders and work towards continuous improvements. Entering sales and purchase contracts with the buyers/suppliers and negotiating with them on trade and commercial terms.
- Credit Risk Analysis for new and existing customers.
- Identify, investigate, and able to analyse potential operational improvement. As appropriate, based on findings make proposals for operational changes (policy, procedures, processes, etc.).
- Ensure coverage of marine cargo insurance & charter’s liabilities for all shipments.
- Follow up on shipping claims and demurrage
- Experience on Palm oil will be an added advantage
- Monitor contract(s) execution and expiration, government grants, and forms.
- Other ad hoc duties assigned from time to time

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related courses
- Preferably with 3 years of relevant working experience in bulk, breakbulk & containerized shipments
- Working knowledge of UCP
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good working attitude and keen to learn
- Possess initiative and able to work pro-actively with little supervision
- A good planner and an excellent team player to lead and motivate the team

**Salary**: $4,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month

- 13th month salary
