Project Manager, Project & Change Management, APAC (Contract)
About the Role
This role will be reporting to Senior Project Manager. The primary responsibility is to drive and support strategic business and operational initiatives focusing on new business development, new product expansion, operational efficiency initiatives and regulatory agenda, including the establishment of the Digital Wealth Platform (DWP).
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide governance and program structure including regular updates at all levels following the project life cycle.
- Plan, manage, delegate, communicate and monitor projects in all stages from initiation through to completion.
- Develop and maintain strong partnership, collaboration and engagement with stakeholders - e.g. business, operations, technology, compliance, risk and legal as required.
- Analyse and define solutions against strategic objectives, requirements and work prioritization.
- Manage and lead projects against agreed scope, time, cost/resource constraints with an agile mindset.
- Create and maintain necessary project documentation including business cases, project plans, presentations and other necessary documentation.
- Test management and coordination.
- Manage change implementation and operationalize change while ensuring control framework requirements are met.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in either of the following is required:
- End to end project management /change management in the financial services industry OR
- Prior experience in Fund Migrations teams / Asset Management Operations / Middle & Back office.
- Understanding of the end-to-end Asset Management business would be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of asset classes such fixed income, equities, exchange traded derivatives, over the counter derivatives and cash management.
- An independent individual who is able to deliver with mínimal supervision.
- A strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
- Good team player with great commitment and attitude.
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects.
- Ability to face off stakeholders, manage their expectations and build strong and credible partnerships.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and time management skills.
- Affable and flexible, with a high tolerance for ambiguity.
- Strong communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skills.
- Strong MS office skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio will be an advantage.
