**Sproud is looking for junior editors to join our post production team
As a junior video editor, you would be working with a group of editors and post production specialists. You will be exposed to the full spectrum of the post production process and workflow. On top of working on video assemblies and first cuts, you would be involved in creating soundscapes for animation projects. You would be working closely with the post production supervisor and directors to achieve the desired end result. A junior editor should also possess creative and problem solving qualities to bring together the best project with the resources they have.

**Responsibilities**
- Receiving a brief, and maybe an outline of footage and/or a shot list, script, or screenplay
- Look at and organise raw footage or shots into archives for easy retrieval
- Assembling visual/audio material to create compelling and visually interesting materials.
- Responsible for post-production tasks including creating offline rough cuts, audio mastering, sound design, online finishing, colour correction, and motion graphics.
- Digitally cutting files to put together the sequence of the film and deciding what's usable
- Work closely with the post production team to discuss and review video at hand
- Reordering and fine-tuning the content to ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the film/video.
- Be able to maximise your time management skills and work effectively within deadlines to develop productions on time.

**Requirements**:

- A relevant educational background in film and media (Fresh grads are welcomed)
- Use Adobe Premiere Pro proficiently, other software proficiencies include Adobe After -Effects, Davinci Resolve, Adobe Audition, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is a bonus.
- Willingness to learn and collaborate with the team.
- Adaptable and resilience
- Someone who takes pride in their work
- Experience in creating media content is a bonus.
