Our Grandfather Story is a digital video publisher that documents, curates and retells authentic stories.

Since 2017, we’ve journeyed across Singapore and beyond to uncover everything from the origins of local childhood treats to no-holds-barred conversations with persons with disabilities — and we’ve barely scratched the surface.

Treading the thin line between old and new, between classic and contemporary, we present overlooked narratives that are timeless, nostalgic, and yet able to spark a sense of delight.

The Video Editor/Senior Video Editor will assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director’s vision suitable for online publication. As a Senior Video Editor, you should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story. You will also be responsible for providing guidance and advice to junior video editors in the team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Piece together video edits following creative brief and production direction
- Review shooting script and raw material to edit video
- Delivering videos independently under tight deadlines
- Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
- Support post-production graphics, music, dialogues, and visual effects needs, where possible
- Manage video publication and file archival
- Provide technical guidance and advice to junior video editors
**Requirements**:

- Familiar with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Photoshop (After Effects a plus)
- Demonstrable video editing ability with video portfolio, specifically documentaries, host-driven content and explainers
- Detail-oriented and organised
- Team player with a positive attitude and good work ethic
