**Roles & Responsibilities**

We are seeking professional, reliable and motivated people to work at our Holiday camps this Spring (March/April) and Summer (June/July/August). There is potential for full time employment after Summer.

We offer our Sports, STEM and Arts camps at Schools, Condos and other sport and recreation venues in Singapore.

We are looking for friendly, thoughtful and reliable team members for one or more of the following camp activities; Sport, STEM, Arts.

Full training for holiday camps is provided.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Follow our Camp Leaders and guidelines to deliver activities for children aged 7-12 (usually those of Primary School age), focusing on participation, development, and enjoyment.
- Manage your group throughout the day. Ensure all policies and procedures on camp are adhered to by yourself and the children in your care, including all health and safety, and safeguarding procedures.
- Continuously promote the welfare of the children in your care.
- Take a pastoral role as a group leader, welcoming new children into your group and liaising with the Camp Manager and/or parents as necessary.
- Supervision of children outside of activity times, including managing your group during breaks and lunch time.
- At all times behave in a manner that reflects the expectations of Get GungHo Activity Camps.
- Live up to the Get GungHo promise to children in guiding them to think, learn and play well by providing events and opportunities for growth and participation in an inclusive setting that offers safe, fun and enriched programmes of learning services and activities.
- Show the required energy, enthusiasm and professionalism for the duration of the season, acting as an ambassador for Get GungHo Camps and behaving as a suitable role model for children.
- Set up the sports/STEM/arts equipment before the camp and tidy up at the end of the camp.
- Take attendance of your group and report this to the camp leader.
- Follow our social distancing and hygiene measures in line with Get GungHo’s guidelines, training will be provided.
- Other ad-hoc duties (cleaning, equipment maintenance/ordering etc)
- Enthusiastic, energetic individual, passionate about working with, and developing children through play and activity.
- Sports Coaching and/or STEM teaching and/or Arts teaching experience & qualifications (preferred but not essential).
- Qualified in, or working towards a primary education qualification, with experience of working with children and delivering activities (preferred but not essential).
- Ability to control a group of up to 10 kids.
- Experience working with children aged 4 years plus.
- Able to tailor activity delivery and structure according to age and ability.
- Punctual and Reliable.
- Flexible, team player, able to adapt to dynamic situations and challenges on camp.
- Good organisation and communication skills.
- Able to follow procedures and instructions.
- Someone looking for a challenging, different but hugely rewarding and fun job in the holidays, and looking to further their career in the childcare and coaching industry.
