Singapore OMF INTERNATIONAL (IHQ) LTD Full time

The Education Advisor is the international advocate for Third Culture Kids (TCKs) in OMF, has a vision to see families with thriving children, who understand and value their TCK experience.
- The person will oversee the system, processes and resources that support the vision of thriving families.
- The person will lead the International TCK team, the TCK Care Committee and maintains and supports a network of field and home side TCK personnel, as they work with leaders, TCKs and families.
- The person will also coordinate with the International Safeguarding team in providing safety for children in the organization.

**Required Knowledge, Character and Skills**
- Experience in, or knowledge of, the TCK experience
- Understanding of child development and education options, such as teaching, homeschooling, modular study groups, etc.
- Ability to take initiative and be proactive
- Good Communication skills: Questioning and listening, both verbal and written.
- Organizational ability
- keeping records, maintaining resources and policies, scheduling, managing priorities, flexibility.
- Leadership skills: leading healthy teams, big picture thinking and planning, providing direction, having a vision, and communicating the vision.

**Major Areas of Responsibility**

Ø Lead the International and Regional TCK Services network

Ø Consult and report to the organization leadership on TCK matters

Ø Work with the International Safeguarding Officer regarding Child Safeguarding

Ø Inter-agency liaison on TCK and Member Care matters
