Responsible for monthly closing of consolidated financial records of SIM Group and its subsidiaries. Review monthly accounts, provide insights analysis to ensure accuracy and timely preparation and submission of internal and external stakeholders reporting including statutory and regulatory submission /return etc.
- Maintain the integrity and completeness of financial records of SIM Group of companies and timely reporting of SIM’s group financial results. Ensure financial, legal, tax and regulatory compliance to government and audit guidelines, strong corporate governance, proper accounting of financial transactions for the Group
- Maintain and improve the internal accounting system efficiency for both external and internal financial reporting to ensure Group’s assets are safeguarded
- Provide effective business partners support to management and other stakeholders in providing financial insights/advice to achieve business objrctives
- Safeguard company’s assets by managing the balance sheets of all SIM companies to ensure that each company’s balance sheet is optimized.
- Provide support to new business initiatives by developing new system and processes for adoption.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS
**- Recognized Degree in Accountancy.
- At least 10 years of relevant working experience with a minimum of 5 years in controllers’ role (ie statutory reporting, group consolidation, implementing controls framework). Strong technical knowledge of Singapore accounting standards and tax law.
- Experience in implementing new accounting systems.
- Good analytical skills and able to manage change. Able to collaborate well with businesses and other functional teams.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and have experience as a people manager.
- An audit background will be desirable.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills
- High level of self-management and ability to work under tight timeline
