DevOps Engineer

**Responsibilities**:

- Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions using cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to ensure 99.99% uptime for a system averaging > 100 requests per second
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to manage and provision infrastructure programmatically.
- Set up and manage monitoring and logging solutions to track system performance, detect issues, and ensure high availability.
- Implement and enforce security best practices to safeguard systems and data, including managing access controls, encryption, and vulnerability assessments that comply with ISO 27001
- Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to understand their needs and ensure that infrastructure and processes support their objectives.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance system performance and reliability.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

**Helpful additional skills**:

- Experience managing WAF, Rate limiting & other security measures using Cloudflare
- Experience with other cloud platforms like GCP, Azure etc
- Experience building and maintaining ISO 27001 compliant cloud infrastructure
- Experience with CDN & DNS management
- Experience with administration of SQL & NoSQL databases like Postgres, Mongo
- Cloud practitioner certifications with a focus on security
- Proficient with AWS and all its core services
- Expert with Kubernetes & Docker
- Proficient with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, Bitbucket Pipelines
- Proficient in IAC using Terraform & Ansible
- Proficient in scripting with python or shell scripts
- Experienced with monitoring & log management tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $5,000.00 - $7,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
