**Responsibilities**:
Design, develop, test and maintain backend REST APIs

Coordinate with robotics engineers to build data pipelines for robots

Work with DevOps engineers to build/extend CI/CD pipelines

Contribute to overall architecture design to build robust, scalable systems

Participate in standups, code reviews, testing on physical robots and other team activities of a typical agile team

Technical qualifications:
Proper understanding and proven implementation of REST APIs

Strong fundamentals in data modeling and databases; both SQL and NoSQL(PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

Experience with core AWS services like EC2, RDS, S3 and Lambda

Strong understanding of containers and Docker

Strong understanding of source control using Git

Helpful Additional Skills:
Familiarity with Linux platform, its configuration and Unix shell scripting

Experience/Familiarity with Kubernetes

Experience with data streaming/processing pipelines

Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, TravisCI, Spinnaker etc

Basic understanding of Agile development methodologies
