Operation Engineer

Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments
- Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent experience in a technical position
- 3+ years of experience in a technical position.
- Experience in Systems administration (Linux or Windows) with Networking troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS and TCP/IP.

We are looking for Operations Engineers to join our Managed Services team based in Singapore. This is an opportunity to join a world class team that is at the forefront of enhancing customer’s cloud support experience.

Key job responsibilities
As a member of Managed Service team, you will be working with our amazing Operation Engineers, Lead Engineers and other supporting roles to dive in and tackle the hardest technical challenges, who excels working in an agile environment while collaborating with some of the diverse people in the industry, who gets excited about owning critical infrastructure services that serve global customers every second of the day Every day will bring new and exciting challenges on the job while you:

- Work on critical, highly complex customer problems that will span multiple AWS services.
- Help build and maintain Cloud Formation templates, and scripts to automate and deploy AWS resources and configuration changes.
- Collaborate and help build utilities and tools for internal use that enable you and your fellow AWS Engineers to operate safely at high speed and wide scale.
- Leverage your day-to-day experiences to provide the voice of the customer to internal AWS teams.
- Drive customer communication during critical events.
- Learn and leverage groundbreaking technologies.
- AWS Managed Services is 24/7/365 operations and Operations Engineer role is required to work in flexible shift hrs

Singapore, SGP
- Experience and technical expertise (design and implementation) in cloud computing technologies
- Experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale or recent hands-on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience
- Experience setting up, maintaining and coordinating the automated patch and configuration management of production servers.
- Experience with SSM to manage resource health, automate deployment and maintenance of Linux and Windows servers.
- Devops, programming/scripting with Ruby, Bash and PowerShell. Other languages a bonus.
- Experience in Database administration.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Any AWS certification
