**Key Responsibilities**

Finance
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with Charity Accounting Standards for management’s review, and for submission to authorities
- Ensure key control activities are in place to manage risk and prevent and detect fraud
- Day-to-day financial operations for Accounts Payable, which include disbursements and settlement.
- Maintain a donation-in-kind register, and track and report separately restricted and unrestricted donation funds.
- Liaise with external parties, e.g., auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities as and when required
- Monitor cash activities and maintain a monthly cash flow forecast.
- Prepare bank and balance sheet account reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation annual budget, and generate monthly report on comparison of year to date spent and year to go forecast against annual budget for management’s review.
- Maintain documentation of standard operating procedures in HFG-SG.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

HR
- Ensure timelines are met for salary disbursement and statutory compliance
- Verification and reconciliation of monthly payroll
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of employee data to CPF Board and IRAS
- Maintain and update employee records on a timely basis
- Assist in updating HR policies and procedures and the Employee Handbook
- Maintain staff benefits utilisation records and training records
- Maintain proper filing and archiving of documents
- Be involved in the implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance to internal and local regulation.
- Participate in HR audits as and when required
- Handle annual appraisal exercise, salary review and wage supplement computation and payouts.

**Skills and Competencies**
- Work experience as a Finance Officer or similar role.
- Familiar with audits, invoices and budget preparations.
- Good knowledge of financial regulations, as well as financial and accounting procedures
- Excellent organization skills
- Able to handle time-sensitive tasks.
- Advanced MS skills
- People oriented and results driven

**Working hours**

Equivalent to 1 day or 8 hours per week.
