As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be the anchor of an agile team. You will be largely involved in architecting and reviewing designs and responsible for ensuring that the platform is stable, scalable and secure.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of software engineers to achieve technical excellence and project success
- Be an active member of the product development team in planning new features. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and objectives
- Architect, design, and develop robust and scalable software solutions that meet business needs
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to team members, assisting in problem-solving and code reviews
- Drive the implementation of best practices for software development, coding standards, and quality assurance processes
- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and ensure timely delivery of software releases
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement
- Contribute to the overall technical strategy and roadmap of the organization
- Own component(s) of the platform and ensure that it meets quality standards
- Build quality software that conforms to engineering best practices. Write well-documented and easily readable code with automated tests.

**Requirements**:

- At least 2 years experience in leading a team with at least 4 software engineers
- At least 3 years experience in full stack development
- At least 7 years of experience in developing software solutions
- Strong proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages (Go, Javascript, Ruby)
- Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices
- Experience with agile development methodologies and tools
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects on time and within scope
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Experience with version control systems, continuous integration, and deployment pipelines
- Ability to lead and mentor a diverse team of developers, fostering a culture of learning and growth
- Fluent in English

Preferred
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of front-end development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
- Previous experience in a tech startup or fast-paced environment
