This internship program, organized by SCI, offers practical experience in the insurance industry, focusing on the claims process.

Interns will learn how to process claims, including assessment, investigation, and resolution. They will assist managers in analyzing historical claims data to identify trends for risk assessment and policy adjustments. Interns will also connect with professionals in insurance and data analytics, helping them build a network for future career opportunities. This program provides valuable skills and insights for professional growth.

The program will last for approximately 3 months starting from 26/05/2025 to 08/08/2025. During this period, intern will receive SGD1400 monthly allowance.

Responsibilities:

- Participate in business strategy planning sessions to contribute insights on claims processes. Collaborate with managers to identify and recommend initiatives for improving claim services.
- Learn the standard procedures for processing claims, including documentation and compliance requirements. Create comprehensive end-to-end maps of the claims process, highlighting key stages and workflows. Analyze process maps to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies and propose actionable solutions.
- Understand key performance indicators (KPIs) related to claims processing efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Be involved in specific projects that require data analytics, collate and present findings, helping to communicate insights and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.
- Engage in self-directed learning opportunities related to claims management and seek mentorship from experienced professionals within the organization to enhance knowledge and skills.
