**Role**:
Leader of EDDC Operations team, this role drives and sustains initiatives that ensure Business Continuity of EDDC. In addition, to work across entities internally and leverage externally to constantly evolve into a future-fit operational unit to enable goals of the organization - EDDC, Enterprise, A*STAR.
**Responsibilities**:
- Work closely with the CEO and Leadership Team to ensure all operational strategies are implemented and sustained. Implement goal setting and performance management to all units within Operations. Oversee cross-functional dependency and steer outcomes across Admin Ops, Laboratory Operations, Procurement, IS/IT and Quality - to achieve objectives of EDDC Operations. Control functional expenditure within agreed budgets. Lead and organise activities related to research operations:a. Support and secure Compliance, and facilitate Audits.b. Enhance efficiency, productivity and quality in administration, laboratory, systems and quality operations.c. Optimizes support for EDDC projects and seek to prevent disruption to bench work.d. Alignment and adherence to HQ policies related to Reporting, Compliance and initiatives from Enterprise and A*STAR.e. Coach & build up team leads; includes hiring, motivating & staff development.f. Perform other duties assigned.
