**Job Dimensions**
- TEGPA is focused on trading activities (in the physical and derivatives markets) in the Asia Pacific region with respect to LNG, gas and power, dry bulk products such as petcoke and sulphur, as well as development activities in the same region with relation to those products. In addition to its long-term contracts for the purchase of LNG destined for the Asian market and its long-term sale contracts with Asian buyers, TEGPA is also very active on the physical spot market.
- The position is based in Singapore, as a member of a team of already two experienced lawyers reporting to TEGPA’s Managing Director. The job holder will work closely with TEGPA’s trading and business development teams in Singapore.**Activities**
The Legal Intern will assist the legal team in various assignments which include:
- reviewing and drafting of contractual documents relating to the trading and business activities of TEGPA and its subsidiaries/affiliates.
- drafting and filing of company secretarial and governance documents.
- undertaking legal research.
- updating and maintaining TEGPA’s Contracts Register and internal contract electronic filing system.
- performing ad hoc tasks as requested by the supervising lawyer(s).
- participating in the deployment of the Compliance program and the compliance risk mapping for TEGPA.
- providing broad legal support to ensure the proper administration of corporate and administration functions.
- assisting in the development of TEGPA’s systems, policies and guides on legal and regulatory issues.
- A law undergraduate with strong academic track record.
- Excellent IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint).
- Fluent in written and spoken English and another language.
- Strong work ethic and motivation.
- Attention to details.
