We are working with a reputable organization to identify a seasoned professional to lead operations within a technical services team. This leadership role involves managing manpower, ensuring service excellence, and driving continuous improvement in performance and safety standards.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee daily operations, manpower planning, and budgeting activities.
- Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and development of a high-performing team, ensuring adherence to top-tier service standards.
- Drive performance outcomes by managing team efficiency and recommending timely repairs or replacements.
- Prepare and present operational and performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
- Manage and evaluate employee performance, including recognition, appraisals, and coaching.
- Guarantee all team members receive necessary training for their roles.
- Collaborate with the technical team to swiftly address operational issues and support preventive and corrective maintenance initiatives.
- Lead process improvement initiatives, including the adoption of remote monitoring and diagnostic tools to enhance equipment performance.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in the M&E sector; exposure to vertical transportation systems (e.g., lifts, escalators) is an advantage.
- Proven track record in managing teams, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong understanding of MTBF and use of engineering tools to drive performance.
- Experience in managing P&L and leading Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) operations with a sizeable team.

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; enjoys working with people.
- Proficient in communication, both written and verbal.
- Competent in MS Office and standard business software tools.

- Able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Analytical mindset with solid computer literacy.
