**Your Responsibilities**
- Perform tasks within a clearly defined task portfolio
- Day-to-day decision making independently within established policies and procedures, as well as managing exceptional cases under the guidance of more experienced colleagues
- Provide solutions and suggestions to improve credit procedures, policies, processes
- Assist and support in the execution of credit projects
- Establish relationships with colleagues within the area of responsibility and understand the needs of internal and external stakeholders
- Provide high quality and timely work results
- Contribute to a positive team performance and the achievement of team objectives
- Delivery of agreed objectives within the assigned task portfolio independently and without regular supervision
- Assessing and monitoring the general creditworthiness (credit reviews, Early Warning Signals, Credit Watchlist) of counterparts and collateral issuers (financial institutions, corporates, sovereigns) operating in a variety of mature and growth countries
- Conduct credit research and market intelligence to acquire sufficient knowledge of the counterparts under responsibility
- Provide recommendations to management (new counterparts, existing counterparts, credit limits) and respond promptly to demands for credit information and advice from the business areas
- Represent Credit Analysis in meetings with internal and external stakeholders regarding topics around the defined task portfolio
- Contribute to the maintenance, concepts/design, testing and implementation of new and existing credit tools
- Contribute to the review, upgrade and development of credit policies, procedures and guidelines

**Your Profile**
- University degree in a quantitative discipline (Economics / Finance / Mathematics / Statistics). Msc or equivalent qualification will be considered as advantage
- Prior credit risk experience and knowledge of financial markets and instruments is an advantage
- Accuracy, attention to detail, sound knowledge of the systems of records
- Good problem-solving skills, comfortable with operational tasks / quick decisions with short deadlines
- Credibility and drive to present senior management with robust and accurate credit recommendations
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in an international environment
- Highly motivated and willing to assume additional assignments, including working in shifts
- Excellent command of English; knowledge of German is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to operate across a number of functions and business areas
