I&c Work Package Manager

Lendlease Singapore is currently searching for an experienced **Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Work Package Manager **to join the Project Management & Construction team responsible for the build and delivery of a range of projects.

In this role as a I&C Work Package Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Engage collaboratively with fellow Lendlease team members, client, design consultants and contractors as necessary to thoroughly understand the project design and objectives.
- To use engineering documentation and electronic data to fully define the work scope in system packages that enable commissioning and start up activities to take place in a controlled and disciplined manner.
- To progressively transfer responsibility for the works to the start-up/commissioning organisation ensuring that turnover is fully accepted by signature with an agreed full list of exception items, which will be completed by agreed dates.
- To compile, collate, store and turnover the construction turnover packs for final transfer to Client and Lendlease.

**Key Duties**:

- Lead and drive the Quality - Environmental Health and Safety (Q-EHS) culture and practice for the work package.
- Responsible for the Electrical and Process Control package, to meet deadlines and budgets utilizing solid project management principles.
- Support engineering in the development and troubleshooting of Process Controls and electrical infrastructure installation.
- Review process and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) and the ability to relate process P&ID to design and implementation of controls structure.
- Development of performance specifications for equipment vendors, equipment selection and bid tabulations.
- Functioning as a technical specialist formulating and developing engineering solutions and techniques for the installation of the systems.
- Assist in planning of electrical and controls portion of projects in terms of scope, cost management and scheduling. Includes directing activities to ensure that construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications, recognized codes and standards, and customer requirements.
- Responsible for work packages scope definition and partake in the contractor selection process.
- Perform supplier site visits to ensure compatibility of equipment designs with current plant configurations.
- Produce site visit reports, contractor job meeting minutes, project material listings, purchase orders, installation schedules and any other installations of systems.
- Manage release of design input to suppliers (integrators, contractors, hardware suppliers, etc.).
- Manage the resolution of technical issues identified by suppliers/contractors.
- Manage the direct reports in the field supervision and inspections.

**Education & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical, Instrumentation or Control Engineering or related field.
- Process relevant Workplace Safety & Health courses for construction sector.
- Min. 10 years’ experience in the construction delivery of large-scale life sciences and cGMP facilities and experience in managing the turnover process for large scale manufacturing projects, preferably in Life Sciences sector.
- Experiences in BMS, industrial control networks, electrical power distribution systems.
- Ability to work in multi discipline design and construction teams.
- Ability to communicate in an articulate manner with clients, consultants, and contractors
- Flexible approach and able to work under pressure with a can-do attitude and a desire to win
