**About the role**

As a Corporate Finance Intern at Carousell, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team's upcoming capital allocation strategy (be it M&A or corporate fundraising). Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, assisting in equity fundraising and Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), conducting market and competitive research, and supporting investor relations efforts with leading venture capital firms. You will gain hands-on experience in Corporate Finance initiatives, contributing to the growth of the digital ecosystem. **Job Description**:

- Create a new 5 year investor-facing financial model for the Group through interaction with key stakeholders across business
- Assist in preparing investor and management presentations for fundraising and investor relations
- Identify and analyze potential M&A and partnership opportunities
- Support the implementation and integration of M&A and partnership initiatives
- Collaborate on ad hoc projects and activities to support the team and senior management

**Qualifications**:

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or any quantitative field (second
- or third-year students preferred)
- Demonstrable familiarity and/or interest in accounting, corporate finance, and/or startups
- Strong financial modeling skills with a good understanding of revenue and cost drivers
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation creation
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and deliver high-quality outputs
- Possesses analytical rigor and a structured thought process that can be clearly articulated
- Familiarity with sustainable remote work culture and ability to navigate in a remote work environment
