**Job Summary (1-year contract)**
This role in the APAC Life Valuaton team in Actuarial Department and will give you the opportunity to be involved in various areas in reinsurance valuation and internal projects.
In this exciting and fast-paced role you will be working across APAC (including China, North Asia, South Asia & ANZ) which cover 9 offices writing business in c.30 countries.
**Key duties and responsibilities**
The Life Actuarial Analyst will support the team in the following tasks:
- Support the quarterly and annual RBC2 regulatory valuation and solvency analysis.
- Support the MAS Industry-Wide Stress Test exercise.
- Assist in the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) exercise.
- Support in the continuous improvement of actuarial reporting processes, analyses and controls across the markets.
- Assist in the preparation of assigned reports.
- Any other ad-hoc projects.
**Experience**:
- Prior actuarial experience in life insurance/reinsurance is preferred, but not required.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
**Skills and Personal Competences**:
- Effective verbal and written communication, time management and organization skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (e.g. Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
- Experience in programming is a plus
- Keen interest to understand and build on actuarial models
- Excellent team player
**Duration**:
- 1-year contract basis
**Required Education**:
Completed bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, or related field with a strong quantitative orientation.
