**Job Description**:
As an Editorial & Social Media Specialist at The Travel Intern, you’ll play a key role in creating compelling editorial content, as well as developing and implementing the company's social media strategies to reach and impact more people.

**Responsibilities & Expectations**:
1) Content Ideation and Pitching
- Be involved in content ideation and brainstorming sessions for both client and non-client projects, to provide input for new campaigns or client pitches.
- Contribute to content strategy and planning, including research of trends, competitors, user-generated content, and markets.

2) Content Creation
- Create and participate in multimedia content that is aligned with the brand’s tone and messaging as required, not limited to writing, copywriting, pre-production, photography, design, and talenting if suitable.

3) Planning & Management
- Guide juniors/interns in editorial and social media teams to ensure the content produced is on brief and on time.

4) Oversee social media content strategy and management
- Implement and coordinate social media campaigns that align with marketing strategies across assigned social media channels for growth.
- Contribute to content strategy and planning, including research of trends, competitors, user-generated content, and markets together with social media leads/creators.
- Analyse social media data to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Prior experience with SEO
- Passion for travel writing
- Great multi-tasking capabilities and strong organisational skills
- Solid understanding of social media trends and extensive knowledge of at least two of the following platforms: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Lemon8
- Proficient in social media management tools

Bonus:

- Comfortable editing reels or Tiktoks on mobile editing softwares
- Proficient in photography and comfortable on camera
