Intelligently connecting the dots across fragmented information landscapes, we bring to our clients a unique, real-time understanding of the trades happening all over the world, by giving them access to live information about the movement of cargos, the availability of vessels as well as commodity storage.

What you’ll do
- The Sales team is looking for a highly motivated Account Development Representative who is excited at the idea of helping to grow our client footprint within our sales team. More specifically you will:
- Prospect for new contacts and opportunities within our account base across the entire Kpler product suite
- Qualify via BANT and convert the newly prospected contacts and leads into new sales opportunities for the APAC Account Managers
- Setting up and onboarding product trials for the newly identified prospects/converted sales opportunitiesIn conjunction with the Account Managers research and fully map out our APAC accounts, including heat maps/organisation hierarchies
- Reporting to the Account Managers on new touch points and progress overview on newly identified opportunities and contacts
- Regular interaction with all existing and potential users through both in person and remote methods
- Be an expert on the client workflow and usage of our product suite within your named accounts
You are or have...
- Experience in Account Development and Sales roles in SaaS or DaaS, either in Energy or Commodities.
- 3+ years experience in customer facing / client driven roles
- Fluency in Mandarin & English - Majority of the teams Tier 1 accounts will be located in China.
- Significant experience in researching, mapping and prospecting accounts
- Confident telephone manner and ability to carry out mass prospecting
- Driven and self-disciplined. You can work in autonomy without much guidance and thrive in unstructured, fast-paced, ever-changing environments
- A team player who always puts the business first with an eye on maximizing you and your team's long-term gains
- Excellent customer service, listening, and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze complex client requirements and needs
- Great attitude and motivation
