**Responsibilities**
- Design, implement and maintain systems for deploying, managing and monitoring a complex enterprise network environment
- Advise technical delivery teams on network automation architecture
- Work with fellow Engineers to build automation designs, including developing a tech stack, developing proper levels of abstraction, and guidance on best practices
- Connect the business needs of the clients with technical delivery plan(s); together with the development team, you will own the definition of the technical design to meet the objectives and requirements of the higher-level business requirements of the clients

**Requirements**:

- 5 years+ experience working in at least one high level language (software development is/was a main focus of your job)
- Experience with implementing and maintaining network automation solutions
- Knowledge of linux based operating systems and networking fundamentals
- Experience with an enterprise network stack, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, wireless, VPN
- Experience with a configuration management solution such as Ansible, and/or Python automating networking devices
- Experience with Git for working in a collaborative environment
- Experience with in-depth knowledge of full-stack architectures inclusive of ITSM (ServiceNow) Enterprise-driven workflows, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD deployment models, Enterprise Orchestration & Automation, Source of Truth
- Quickly adopts new technologies and continuously demonstrates technical excellence

**Preferred Requirements**
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Familiar with Cisco ACI and SDWAN solutions.
- Familiar with tools and other network libraries such as Nornir, Netmiko, NAPALM, Batfish
- Familiar with CI/CD and how it could be applied to network automation, such as pytest, Robot Framework.
