IT Asia and Global Analytics is a core function in Telenor Group Technologies & Services and is responsible for IT transformation and development to drive the standardization, common demand management, innovation and providing personalized customer experience built on the target architecture. It is leading the work on IT strategy, operating model, performance, global programs and other activities to deliver on Telenor Group’s ambition.

The objective of the Global Analytics domain is to own and lead Telenor’s BI & Analytics strategy, roadmap, architecture, evaluate new technologies & deliverables for leveraging data to gain market share, generate revenue and drive business performance.

The Analytics domain provides the enablers to the analytics ecosystem to cater for all analytics needs and requirements across Telenor through a global analytics operating model with the focus of enabling a data driven organization to drive value creation via monetization of the data assets for internal and external consumption.

We are now looking for a **VP, Analytics and Data Management, **who can maximize the telco data value, support Digital Distribution and personalized offers & care across own and 3rd party digital verticals, are you the one we are looking for?

This includes data management, data governance, data engineering, data models, AI/ML approach, DevOps to deliver on the key ambitions of standardizing analytics, making it highly scalable, agile and driving high value in a cost-efficient manner via new technology innovations and operating models like Analytics as a Service (Aaas).

The VP - Analytics and Data Management should provide leadership and direction for Analytics function, providing the vision and transformation strategy & governance and also act as an advisor to the Marketing and Digital teams helping Telenor to transform into a business that truly differentiates and competes on the analytics landscape.

This role is based in Singapore and reports to Orsolya Sekerka who is the SVP-Head of IT Asia and Global Analytics.
**As VP, Analytics and Data Management you will get the following tasks**:

- Set direction, drive and support the Analytics Transformation Agenda across Telenor and its Business Units
- Develop Analytics and Data Mgmt strategy, direction, guideline, and action plan
- Lead the Analytics team and global analytics community in achieving Telenor's ambition
- Lead the team to identify, develop, and communicate improvement opportunities and initiatives, realize improvements and report progress
- Provide decision making and approval in coordination with stakeholders
- Manage risk to ensure continuity of business
- Be accountable for special assignments relating to function as allocated by immediate superior level
**We think you have the following qualifications and skills**:

- Technical knowledge and business understanding of a variety of data and Busines Intelligence technologies, including experience with cloud native products from GCP, AWS, Azure
- Extensive expertise in Analytics-related technical platform and Analytics tools EDW, Reporting, Architecture, Data Modeling, BAM (business activity monitoring), data mining, Campaign Management Systems, Adobe Analytics, contextual marketing, Google Analytics (GMP), Big Data, AI/ML, CDC, CEP, etc.,
- Deep Understanding on Analytics ecosystems in various environments (e.g., Private Cloud, Public Cloud, Cloud Native & Hyperscale)
- Adequate understanding of Data protection, security and privacy aspect in Asia and in Europe
- Understanding of physical data architecture options such as enterprise data warehouse, data federation, hub & spoke architectures, independent data marts, cloud native architecture, data integration tools and techniques such as ETL (Extract Transform Load), CDC (Change Data Capture)
- Relevant experience in areas such as data quality, master management
- Experience in managing large and complex Analytics programs and projects
- Solid understanding of key Analytics market and industry trends
- Experience in and understanding of a wide variety of analytical processes (governance, measurement, etc)
- Experience on Analytics as a Service model will be considered an advantage
- Experience in working with Analytics hardware, software and services vendors. Ability to negotiate and structure contracts favorable to the organization
- Extensive experience interacting with C-level.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Results orientation with capacity to motivate people around and across business units
- Experience in telecommunications industry will be an advantage
