**Investment Services Private Markets**

We manage deal structuring, due diligence and closing. We provide financial operations to GIC’s private equity, infrastructure, and real estate assets, as well as tax structuring, corporate holding structures, valuations, and financial reporting.

**Data Solutions & Analytics**

Data Solutions & Analytics (DSA) team’s vision is to unlock the value of Private Market’s information assets and make it readily available to support decision-making and informed action. We provide best-in-class data stewardship, sourcing, ingestion, analytics, and governance across the private market asset classes in GIC.

**What impact can you make in this role?**

We are hiring a VP, Data Analytics. This role will play a pivotal part in taking private market data analytics capabilities to the next level by leveraging modern technology and analytics techniques to identify opportunities and drive improved data driven decision making. Focus will be on developing analytics to support asset management of private equity holdings, real estate assets, infrastructure assets, portfolio management and operational efficiency.

**What will you do as a VP, Data Analytics?**
- Develop deep understanding of supported stakeholders’ businesses and provide expert guidance on how data/analytics can support their needs
- Manage, develop, and set priorities for resources within the data analytics team to ensure that business, enterprise, and DSA needs are met
- Identify and execute opportunities where analytics solutions/products can be used to improve operational efficiency and/or drive business performance within GIC
- Identify, recommend, and implement improvements to existing Data Analytic products/solutions
- Explore and experiment with new data tools and capabilities for provision of data analytics and insights discovery (AI/ML, NLP, Graph, Visualisation, etc.)
- Build and maintain relationships with other analytic teams within GIC to ensure best practice are being shared and synergies exploited
- Identify opportunities across within ISPVM and GIC to uplift data capabilities and accelerate adoption of data driven/informed decision making
- Represent Private Markets and actively contribute to enterprise-wide data projects/initiatives
- Play a leadership role in GIC/ISPVM/DSA projects and GIC data community as needed
- Contribute to overall DSA/ISPVM data strategy and execution of key streams of work

**What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?**
- Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, or relevant disciplines
- 10+ years of relevant experience in data management, business intelligence & analysis
- Hands on experience building analytic solutions using Python, R, or similar
- Hands on experience building BI & reporting solutions using Tableau, Power BI, or similar
- Deep understanding of the full data/analytics lifecycle: data acquisition/discovery, data engineering, data storage, automation, data science, AI/ML, and operationalization of analytic solutions into business operations
- Experience leveraging both traditional and advanced data analytics techniques in combination with strong business acumen to generate actionable insights
- Experience managing and developing a team of data professionals
- Ability to partner with business stakeholder to identify opportunities, influence strategic direction, understand requirements, and lead development of innovative and sustainable data solutions
- Excellent project and time management skills to drive multiple workstreams
- Strong learning agility, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Prior experience in Private Markets or Financial Investment Services will be a bonus
