We are looking for an experienced products & packaging designer to develop various new products for customers, creative and cost-effective packaging designs for our products. You will work with a team of engineers and other professionals to design products to specifications and deliver them on time. You will work to develop functional, eye-catching products & packaging designs that resonate with our target market using rough sketches as well as design software for detailed drawings.

To ensure success as a products & packaging designer, you should have a keen eye for detail and colour, have a good eye for style and in-depth knowledge of packaging regulations. A top-class designer should be able to analyse and identify market trends and needs, create products & packaging that is both eye-catching and functional.

**Responsibilities**:

- Meeting with the design and marketing teams to discuss products & packaging specifications.
- Translating research into feasible ideas and designs that will satisfy consumers.
- Clearly outlining specifications for the design team and stakeholders.
- Evaluating market trends and analyzing similar designs.
- Brainstorming ideas using hand sketches, verbal cues, words, and design software.
- Ensuring designs accurately represent the company’s brand and ethos.
- Selecting functional ideas and creating mock-ups.
- Identifying suitable packaging materials and conducting feasibility studies.
- Collaborating with the design team to finalize packaging text and graphics.
- Completing final mock-up designs using computer modeling software.
- Presenting final designs to stakeholders and company managers.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in industrial design, graphic design, art, or a similar field.
- Proven experience working as a products or packaging designer.
- Natural talent for design and a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with various packaging materials.
- Proficient with 3D design software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work within deadlines and fast-pace environments.
