**WHAT IT IS**:
Port Operations Executives are responsible for the smooth operations of port and cargo operations. Their job scope includes the following:

- Working with key stakeholders including regulatory authorities, port operations and shipping lines to ensure compliance with regulations
- Monitoring and reporting of port performance and expenditure
- Optimising the resource allocation within the port by overseeing of the implementation of workflow improvements

Entry level port operations executives start at a monthly salary upwards of $3,000 for university graduates.
- Salary data based on industry surveys conducted by Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) for reference only. Actual salaries may differ due to market conditions and company/organisation policies.
