Singapore SIMMONS & SIMMONS ASIA LLP Full time

**Main purpose of the role**:
The role will be responsible for all financial accounting, reporting, tax and audit matters of our Singapore office.

**Reports to**:CFO, Asia (based in Hong Kong)

**Supervises**:1 finance subordinate based in Singapore

**Main duties and responsibilities**:

- Manage the day-to-day finance operations for three Singapore operating entities, including month-end closing, account receivables, accounts payable and cash management;
- Effectively manage the local statutory audits and tax filing all Singapore entities and be the primary regional contact point for Group Reporting team on audit and tax queries;
- Engage in process improvement initiatives and streamline procedures to increase operational efficiencies;
- Act as technical expert for the regional finance team in the area of audit, SRA compliance and partnership accounting;
- Assist the CFO in the annual Budget and ad-hoc financial reporting on a needed basis.

**Education / experience / qualifications**:

- University graduate with mínimal 5 years of working experience;
- Qualified Accountant with solid audit experience;
- Previous relevant experience of working in a similar role across jurisdictions and cultures would be an advantage.

**Knowledge and technical skills**:

- Strong technical skills in financial accounting;
- Good knowledge on Singapore tax and IFRS Accounting rules;
- Good Excel and data-mining skills.

**General skills**:

- Good interpersonal skills and proactiveness;
- High degree of professionalism and accuracy in work;
- Ability to work under pressure at high levels of performance;
- Ability to communicate with partners and other senior stakeholders.
