**Overview**

We are seeking a social media marketing intern to manage Vista Musical Instrument’s social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. Core responsibilities will include collaborating on social media calendar creation, scheduling daily social posts, and creating ad hoc content relevant to current marketing campaigns and initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on social media marketing experience with a musical instruments retailer. On-boarding training and occasional work-from-home days will be provided.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist with creating social media calendars and content strategies for Facebook, Instagram and YouTube
- Assist producer with on-site video shoots
- Schedule and publish daily posts to keep audiences engaged
- Create ad hoc social content including images, videos and written posts supporting marketing campaigns
- Monitor social media channels daily and respond to audience comments/questions
- Research latest social media trends, platforms, and best practices
- Analyse platform analytics and compile reports summarizing performance
- Provide general social media marketing support

**Requirements**:

- Passion for social media marketing
- Familiarity with leading social platforms and trends
- Excellent creative writing and visual content production ability
- Strong communication, time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic analytical skills
- Proficient in Facebook Creator Studio, Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio
- Experience with Instagram native features (collaborative posts, IG Reels editing tools, etc.)
- Knowledge of musical instruments is a bonus
