Buyer/senior Buyer

**The Role**

**As a Buyer, you will play a key role in range planning, forecasting, buying, and monitoring the performance of sales, inventory, and markdowns. We welcome people who have strong interest in fashion & strong analytical skills to join the team.**
- Develop merchandising mix, in line with the company’s vision for SocietyA
- Partner with partners on determining seasonal & alignment with business targets.
- Forecast order quantity for the assigned category.
- Undertake tactical actions to hit KPIs which include sales target, sell-through, and achieve optimal inventory level closing stocks.
- Support execution of pre-season activities which include launch planning, allocation plan, pricing for new season & range planning.
- Support execution of in-season activities and campaigns which include repeat orders, markdowns & consolidation.
- Look out for new brands to bring onboard SocietyA
- Build and maintain productive relationships within the different level of stakeholders, cross-functional teams and partners.
- Understand country/partner level nuances and competitive landscape to optimize business performance
- Work closely with operations, merchandising and retail teams to new collections achieve full potential in sales
- Conduct seasonal product training in-store
- Participate in departmental projects to improve the overall business operation or productivity.
- Any other assignment by the line manager.

**Ideal Profile**

**Skills Required**:

- Academic qualification Business/Retail Management / Fashion Marketing / Merchandising
- Minimum 2 years or more is required in relevant field
- Excellent computing skills, proficient in MS Excel
- Excellent interpersonal, planning and organization skills to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a multi-tasking & fast-paced environment.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Enjoy interacting with people of diverse cultures
- Proactive and with strong analytical skills
- Keen eye for details with an aptitude for numbers
- Strong presentation and report-writing skills
- Keen sense and passion in the beauty & fashion industry
- Potential for travel to international fashion weeks and tradeshows
