Singapore MHA - Singapore Police Force (SPF) Full time

**What the role is**
- The Singapore Police Force (SPF) plays a critical role in keeping Singapore safe and secure with our mission to prevent, deter and detect crime. The International Cooperation Department (ICD) seeks to enhance SPF’s operational effectiveness, bolster continuous capability-building and strengthen SPF’s international strategic space through the purposeful, meaningful and constructive engagements with strategic stakeholders worldwide. As the staff authority for SPF’s international engagements, ICD proactively seeks to establish and secure strategic and operational opportunities for cooperation and collaboration to bolster efforts in the fight against transnational crime, and thereby contributing to SPF’s role in safeguarding the safety and security of Singapore. You will be part of a close knitted and dynamic team who supports the SPF in advancing and safeguarding SPF’s interests in the international arena in working with International Organisations (IO) such as INTERPOL and other global law enforcement counterparts.

**What you will be working on**
- As Assistant Policy Officer with the ICD, you play a role in advancing and safeguarding the interests of the SPF through purposeful, meaningful and constructive engagements with key stakeholders, domestically and internationally. You will be tasked to drive, navigate and shepherd key workstreams of International Relations as follows: International Policy: Implement and drive strategic engagements with key stakeholders (domestic and international); International Operations: Facilitate the exchange of security information and cooperation in major operations and investigations; Protocol: Facilitate engagements with foreign dignitaries and ensure that due order of diligence is carried out in accordance with formalities and courtesies at both the national and agency levels. You will be placed under the Management Executive Scheme.
