**Job Overview**

This position is primarily responsible for providing control system programming support for a variety of audio visual (AV) and video teleconferencing (VTC) projects.

Those will little or no AV experience will be considered for Associate Programmer role.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Modify Audio Visual device programs
- Design and development of custom graphical user interface (GUI) on control system touch panels.
- Perform control systems engineering, programming and testing of AV control systems and equipment.
- Create and develop control system user interfaces and operational manuals.
- Program and configure AV control systems such as Crestron and AMX, DSPs, ClearOne, Biamp, matrix mixers and

switchers, codecs (Tandberg/Polycom).
- Ability to trouble-shoot and diagnose complex audio, video, switching and control systems problems and debug

AV systems.
- Configure IP addressable devices such as routers, switches, servers.
- Coordinate with AV engineers and customers to develop touch panel designs.
- Contribute on projects from initial estimating phase through final inspections and commissioning.
- Ability to work independently and to be self-directed.
- Other duties as required or assigned by management.
- Travel to various job sites to upload code and/or troubleshoot systems

**Qualifications**
- Degree in computer science or Electrical Engineering or working experience in technology related field or Audio Visual.
- Crestron programming certification (CTI-P101, P201, P301) will be required for AV Programmer role.
- Experience with control of DSP configuration software and controllers of major equipment manufacturers (Crestron, AMX, Cisco, Polycom, Planar, Digital Projection)
- Ability to troubleshoot audio, video, and control systems problems
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
