**Job description:
- Develop Inspection Test Plan (ITP), Project Specific Procedure (Painting) as per the client & code requirements. - Perform coating & insulation inspections in accordance with the ITP (Inspection and Test Plan).
- Ensure that material/consumables is stored and handled in accordance with manufacturers requirements and data sheets are available, when required, material traceability is maintained and correct material used.
- Monitor performance of contractors, ensure Applicators are competent and where required have valid certification for the process in use, equipment is in serviceable condition.
- Ensure inspection and test equipment is serviceable, with in calibration period and personnel are knowledgeable in its use. - Ensure blast medium and coating materials conform to project specifications
- Ensure ambient conditions are acceptable for required process output.
- Monitor dry film thickness and re-coating intervals. - Ensure any identification marks or tags removed or over coated are replaced.
- After the full curing activity conduct visual inspection and specified non-destructive and destructive tests.
- Prepare daily reports on the work in progress.
- Carry out any other duties as and when required by the supervisor.
- Responsible for timely inspection during fabrication and construction, proactive in the prevention of non-compliance and problem resolution.

**Job Requirement**:

- Possess NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers) level II / FROSION level III -.
- Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience and above in painting and coating Inspection.
- Strong understanding of NACE, and preferably AWS, ASME B31.3 and ASME sec VIII and IX standards are added advantage.
- Proficient computer knowledge with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word and Outlook) required.
- Ability to prioritize the work in multi-tasking environment. - Ability to meet tight deadlines, follow up on commitments, and action.
- Strong ability to solve problems and communicate persuasively.
