The NTU Investment Office invests the endowment of Nanyang Technological University with the purpose of supporting the activities of the university and enhancing the purchasing power of the asset under management. The Fund invests over long horizons and across public and private global markets. The Office actively engages the financial community, works closely with the best global investment managers and participates in large sized complex financial transactions.
- Supervise the entire spectrum of day-to-day activities of the middle office of an endowment, which includes overseeing compliance, risks, performance measurement, liquidity and database management for a global portfolio
- Enhance the robustness of the risk and control framework. An integral part of this process involves undertaking operating and legal due diligence of external managers, across the entire spectrum of asset classes in both the private and public markets
- Oversee the onboarding and redemption of external investment managers. Co-ordinate the facilitation of complex financial transactions which includes deal negotiation, risk management and legal completion
- Liaise with the Finance department on budgeting, liquidity and donor management

**Requirements**:

- At least 15 years of working experience in finance, investment, audit or legal work environment
- Experienced in being a senior manager with an established fund management company or investment bank with large sized capital market transaction and / or deal execution is an advantage
- Possess strong understanding of financial and investment products
- Experienced in managing operations or middle office function is preferred
- Proven track record of execution and delivery
- Demonstrate ability to engage senior level management
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills with strong presentation skills
- Possess at least a Bachelor degree
