**Key Responsibilities**
- Schedule shipments based on customer orders and required timelines.
- Negotiate terms with carriers and freight forwarders to secure freight bookings.
- Monitor delivery schedules to ensure shipments are timely and accurate, coordinating with purchasing, sales, and warehouse teams as necessary.
- Prepare and process import/export permits and address any inquiries from the Singapore Customs officer.
- Coordinate with logistics providers to align trucking schedules with shipment deadlines to optimize free time.
- Generate and manage essential shipping documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bill of lading, and shipping instructions, ensuring they adhere to industry standards and company policies.
- Track courier packages, promptly addressing any issues or delays that occur.
- Respond to shipment-related queries and feedback, resolve discrepancies, handle delays, and proactively troubleshoot shipping problems.
- Maintain and update administrative records related to shipments.
- Perform additional ad-hoc tasks as needed.
