**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Support the Project Manager in the execution of project management functions, particularly in the areas of schedule management, performance monitoring, and risk response planning. Review, assess, and propose revisions to baseline schedules, including any recovery or catch-up plans submitted by the EPC contractor.
- Review and analyze project control deliverables, including Primavera P6 schedules, S-curves, rundown curves, and progress reports across all disciplines—engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, quality, and manpower. Identify critical path activities, assess float, and provide inputs on schedule optimization. Where slippages occur, work with subcontractors to develop and implement corrective action plans.
- Monitor and evaluate project progress against the approved Project Schedule and Progress Measurement System. Conduct periodic site inspections to validate reported progress, assess construction status, and document any deviations or variances from planned performance.
- Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to support schedule integrity, resource planning, and progress tracking across all project phases. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure alignment of Project Controls strategies with corporate requirements. Drive adherence to planning best practices and ensure timely, accurate reporting for senior stakeholders.
- Based on project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), analyze manpower histograms, assess workforce deployment, and recommend adjustments to optimize productivity. Coordinate with subcontractors to ramp up resources where required and identify opportunities to enhance work sequencing and methods to meet performance targets. Forecast manpower requirements against remaining work and estimate completion timelines.
- Establish and manage project controls aligned with PMBOK best practices, including development of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), critical path method (CPM) scheduling, and schedule risk assessments.
- Implement earned value management (EVM) principles and conduct variance/trend analysis to support cost and schedule performance assessments.
- Produce accurate and timely progress documentation, including daily, weekly, and monthly reports, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.Provide planning and control support during FPSO construction, integration, and commissioning phases, ensuring compliance with all schedule-related deliverables.
**Technical Proficiencies**:
- **Planning Tools**:Primavera P6 (advanced proficiency), MS Project
- **Data & Productivity Tools**:Power BI, Microsoft 365 Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- **Project Management and Other Tools**:WBS, Critical Path Analysis, Risk Management, Earned Value Management; Dashboard creation, S-curves, progress measurement systems
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- Engineering Degree (preferably Electrical or related discipline) with around 12 years of progressive experience in project planning and controls within the Oil & Gas, especially Offshore development project construction sectors
- Demonstrated proven track record and strong experience gained across FPSOs, LNG plants, and other offshore development projects.
- Solid understanding of schedule dependencies and construction workflows
- Excellent communication, coordination and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to work within diverse and multicultural teams
- Prior experience working with both international EPC contractors and client-side project teams
