**What the role is**
- You will support the Chief Data Officer to guide NParks in compliance to government data and security policies. The areas of your work will include working with the respective data owners, custodians and users to adhere to data management policies and processes, and working with internal and external stakeholders to enable data sharing and collaborations. Responsibilities - Define new data collection, management and sharing processes, and ensure compliance to government data management policies - Work closely with the Chief Information Security Officer to ensure data collection, management and sharing are in compliance with government security policies - Work closely with internal Data Administration Working Group to implement data management and security policies with business units, as well as, review processes to ensure compliance - Communicate the policies and processes to staff regularly to increase their awareness - Acquire, manage and share data, including geospatial data, with internal and external stakeholders - Facilitate data collaborations with other government agencies and external stakeholders and manage the data exchange on data sharing platforms - May perform ad-hoc data analysis to assist user departments in the use of data to support their decision-making, when required - May perform some project management work, when required

- Requirements - Degree in IT or equivalent - Interest in data management and governance work - Experience in data management in enterprise geospatial information systems - Meticulous and with good written and effective communication skills - Preferably to have 2 years of working experience in relevant role - Preferably with data analytics experience and familiar with Python/R and visualization software
