Team Introduction
The Physical Security team would handle security related matters regarding to soft and hardware, providing support and expertise in strengthening the security and ensuring a safe technology usage. The team will provide support for users, and develop standards to be used globally.

Overview
The Physical Security Systems Engineer will lead the installation and configuration of physical security software such as enterprise video management systems, physical access control systems, key management systems, and visitor management systems across their assigned regions. They will have expertise in the systems development lifecycle (SDLC) and be responsible for ensuring that our technology aligns with requirements from key stakeholders including Information Security, Network Engineering, and Legal / Data Privacy. They will additionally provide technical support for end users, manage break/fix workflows and develop technical standards to be used around the world.

**Responsibilities**:

- Program the software of security devices for new sites / renovations in support of Project Managers across IT and Security
- Provide system monitoring, version control and status updates for all security technology including software patching and device firmware updates
- Manage risk of systems by performing regular audits against industry best practices and remediate discovered vulnerabilities in partnership with Information Security
- Manage service tickets and perform advanced-level troubleshooting on security systems by navigating operating systems (Windows, Mac OS, mobile) and network architecture such as VLANs, firewalls, etc. to remediate programming/configuration issues and develop corrective action plans / SOPs
- Maintain awareness of the latest in physical security technology (ex. SaaS solutions, mobile credentials, analytics, AI)
- Deep expertise with a variety of security technologies and manufacturers (bonus points for experience with Lenel and Avigilon)
- Strong understanding of IT support troubleshooting workflows (ex. Ability to navigate Active Directory and anti-virus software), information security and network infrastructure principles (ex. zero trust, firewalls, DHCP, VPNs) and security standards (ex. ISO 27001, MPAA, DoD)
- Strong understanding of global data privacy and regulatory requirements as they relate to physical security systems such as GDPR
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and thrive in a fast paced environment
- Basic coding capability (SQL queries, navigating Python/Powershell) a plus
