This is a new role for the Linklaters Information Security team. Located within the Asia Technology team, it will report to the Information Security Manager in the UK. You will be responsible for helping to deliver the firm’s information security programme, ensuring assets are adequately protected.

**The Team**

It’s a busy team focused on delivering best in class service to the firm, driving improvements and efficiencies, whilst ensuring a consistent value add service to our stakeholders.

**Expectations of the role**
- Act as a trusted advisor on information security related activities.
- Ensure that the firm’s information security approach is aligned with business needs and requirements.
- Primary responsibility for managing and operating the firm’s Splunk infrastructure.
- Assist with providing suitable response to any security-related incidents, such that these are properly investigated and appropriate actions taken.
- Assist with monitoring threats and vulnerabilities and ensure the information security program is providing appropriate protection against them.
- Provide advice to other Technology teams to ensure that security operations are properly carried out. This includes traditional infrastructure security, device monitoring and management.
- Assist with measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of information security measures. Identify any trends that may require further action e.g. improved security awareness, updated controls etc.
- Assist with responding to security audit requests from clients to assure them Linklaters protects their data appropriately.
- Support the implementation and operation of the ISMS in line with the ISO27001 standard.

**Experience**
- In-depth knowledge and experience of Splunk, with relevant certifications e.g. Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin or Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect.
- Practical experience of IT security principles and techniques.
- CISSP certification preferable.
- Wide range of technologies.
