Manager, Product Planning

We are looking for a passionate and professional Manager to join our Product Planning and Development team.

Based in Singapore and reporting into the Senior Manager, the incumbent will combat the illegal bookies' offering through a balanced, and optimized mix of horse/sport simulcasts in Singapore and export other races overseas to new markets and channels.

**What You'll Do**
- You will optimize the offering of quality sports and horse races to combat illegal bookmakers and generate gross revenue. These translate to new offerings such as competitions/ leagues/ tournaments/ campaigns.
- You will engage Product Content and Trading Ops/Wagering Control teams closely to better improve the reception, engagement and performance of each event from content and operational perspectives.
- You will monitor the market and identify/analyze product gaps between Singapore Pools and other wagering operators' offerings, including both grey and illegal bookmakers.
- You will establish dashboard of metrics and analytics to determine overall Sport/Horse product performance and identify trends and gaps requiring corrective solutions and to necessitate the follow up actions.
- You will foster strong and close relationships with partners, vendors and operators in order to have a current understanding of the wagering market, and industry developments around the world.
- You will explore new export opportunities for race product(s) in new markets / channels and jurisdictions to expand availability for wagering and to collect incremental revenue in the form of royalties and commingling fees.
- You will assess suitable routes to markets (RTMs), identify and negotiate with suitable parties to ensure the export product distribution process is executed with integrity and meets all operational and audit standards.
- You will build and make available contents for export race product in new and existing territories with the objective to increase wagering interest.
- You will review and establish commingling arrangements that will be advantageous to Singapore Pools and local customers to benefit from increased pool liquidity.
- You will curate plans to review and introduce new popular bet types and game features to combat illegal offerings and take back market share.
- You will participate in the planning, review and formulation of Company/Division/Department's strategies and policies.
- You will submit regular reports to Finance, Tote Board/ regulators on product performance.
- You will be the touchpoint with I&A and Corporate Strategy for internal studies, analyses and information sharing with regards to Product portfolio.
- You will be involved with preparation and management of department's annual budget, and to ensure the section operates within approved budget parameters.
- You will work closely with Customer and Channels teams to understand, develop and execute joint projects/plans to ensure content optimization and delivery so as to achieve strategic KPIs.
- You will mentor and guide Development team member(s) so as to play an active role in nurturing each staff to full potential, with extended runway to be deployable within the PPD team and across other products/functional specializations.
- You will perform any other duties assigned from time to time.

**Who You Are**
- You have a Bachelor's Degree from a recognised University.
- You have at least 10 years' working experience with 5 years in managerial position, preferably in a related industry.
- You have good interpersonal and negotiation mindset and skills.
- You have knowledge of international markets and industry, and strong networking skills.
- You have strong project management skills.
- You have knowledge of IT and IT trends, from perspectives of organizational needs and customers.
- You have customer-focused mindset and good business acumen.
- You are a good team player with a positive attitude.
