Project Management Programmer

We are looking for a Programmer to join our Project Management team to support on set-up and programming of surveys and develop capabilities of our survey systems. The Programmer will also be in-charge of database management and fieldwork monitoring dashboard and solutions.

The Programmer is responsible for programming survey questionnaires, assisting throughout the duration of each project (launch/monitor/close), supporting team members, implementing new solutions and capabilities as well as other technical aspects, for example, automation and dashboarding.
- Programme survey questionnaires of different methodologies and complexities. Well-versed on Confirmit/Forsta (our programming platform). Knowledge on other platforms is a plus like Qualtrics, Decipher
- Management and deployment of database for surveys
- Collect detailed user and technical requirements to translate into programming solutions and ensure that identified solutions meet customer needs and expectations
- Monitor performance to identify and help resolve system problems
- Investigate and resolve problems on survey software products and standard systems
- Participate in standard solution implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and conversions with third party vendors
- Maintain security, integrity, and business continuity controls and documents related to the survey platform
- Build knowledge on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies
- Form productive collaborative partnerships with both external and internal parties to produce optimized outcomes
- Supervise consultants and vendors and be accountable for their performance
- Exercise cost consciousness in terms of both dollar and people resources to ensure that the best information can be obtained at the lowest costs
- Provide input in brainstorming sessions when required

**Critical Technical, Professional and Personal Capabilities**
- Degree/Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent
- Possess 3-5 years of hands-on experience programming custom research projects
- Possess strong MS platform knowledge and skills e.g. ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, Visual Studio.NET, SQL
- Possess knowledge and experience in developing, customizing and implementing survey software solutions especially Confirmit
- Possess strong skills in Microsoft Office (in particular ability to develop automated functions) as well as SPSS
- Have good knowledge of project management methodologies
- Good understanding of market research theory and principles
- Experience in managing multiple projects, multiple clients simultaneously
- Creative, solution-oriented mindset with the drive to see plans through to implementation
- Energetic, motivated, and capable of building relationships both internally and externally with project management knowledge and relevant skillsets
- Organized, meticulous, and able to work under tight schedule, with the patience and perseverance to see through long timelines
- Have consistent strong communication skills both verbally and in written documents
- Prepare documentations for programming projects developed
