Senior Manager, Energy Management

**Summary**
This role will help to drive the growth of the platform by further enabling RES deployment and coordinating the strategy for the origination of off-site Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for new projects and investments across APAC, while overseeing the portfolio management activities for projects under construction and in operation.

**Responsibilites**

For PPA Origination
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across Project Development, Investments and M&A or Energy Assessment to maintain an updated project pipeline;
- Research and plan routes-to-market for renewable energy projects;
- Build and manage lasting relationships with Clients seeking to source clean energy;
- Draft and negotiate high-value term sheets and PPAs with notional amounts in the hundred-million-dollar range;
- Be an integral part of the strategy driving new investments.

For Portfolio Management
- Modeling of project power generation and cash-flow;
- Creation of interactive dashboards providing insights into portfolio performance;
- Gate-keeping and strategic planning of APAC energy portfolio gross margin;
- Management and trading/ hedging of merchant positions in Renewable Energy Certificates and Power not contracted in long-term PPAs.

**Requirements**:
MUST HAVE
- Successful experience in contract negotiation, especially related to PPAs
- At least 5 years of successful experience in contract negotiation, especially related to PPAs
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Structured and effective presentation/communication skills (written and oral)
- Outstanding interpersonal and collaborative skills at all organizational levels as well as in client facing settings
- Ability to function with a high degree of autonomy, proactive attitude and drive to get things done
- Degree in Finance/Economics/Engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in Office is strictly required (Word, Excel and Power Point)
- At least 5 years professional experience

VALUED
- Former experience in energy trading, renewable project development, clean energy procurement and/or strategic consulting functions
- Former experience in modeling or similar analytical role
- Ability to prepare interactive dashboards in PowerBI or similar digital tools
