ABOUT THE ROLE

Based in Singapore or Australia, Audible is looking for a Program Management and Marketing Operations Lead, APAC. This role is responsible for the project management of all product launches and initiatives in the APAC region, supported by a team of program management experts. This role will collaborate with the global Product team and key business stakeholders, and support APAC and local Country Managers to drive project prioritization and delivery of our Product roadmap, always ensuring business goals and needs are met.

Key job responsibilities

As a Director, Program Management & Marketing Operations, you will...
- Manage a Program Management and Marketing Operations team across APAC
- Be the expert and thought leader regionally on the Program Increment (PI) cycle and process -collaborating with the Product & Customer Experience team to build effective mechanisms to understand how the product pipeline will impact the APAC region, and ensure global projects and initiatives consider and capture APAC business requirements
- Serve as the project manager and product expert to execute product launches in line with the business strategy set by Country Managers in the APAC region, ensuring stakeholders are kept abreast of new products and features, liaising with development teams, and communicating local requirements and priorities. Specifically, this includes critical path management, project management, QA and UAT, localization, problem solving and issue resolution
- Share best practices to support adoption of key product features and capabilities among Marketing teams in the region to assist them deliver on strategic priorities. Liaise with global Product teams on adoption, success stories, learnings and improvements related to these products features and capabilities
- Lead the regional review of Product roadmap delivery, providing clarity to APAC leadership on project volume, business priority, required level of effort and business impact
- Serve as an operational excellence expert for project delivery, ensuring Program Management projects across the region are managed through effective delivery processes and include all critical stages and milestones through the project lifecycle.
- Act as “APAC Business Partner” lead for key projects - liaising with APAC region and local country leadership teams to execute the product roadmap, and working with tech and business leaders to ensure smooth delivery and communication for business critical projects for all APAC region territories
- Proactively identify and coordinate resolution of issues that may impair Audible’s ability to meet its strategic, financial and technical goals
- Collaborate with peers throughout International Program Management teams to shape and drive efficiencies for APAC Program Management
- Coordinate cross team dependencies. Identify areas of opportunity across Audible to improve business practices, processes and operations, and create and management programs to solve them

Basic Qualifications
- Deep understanding of and experience with, Agile project processes
- Leadership experience in mass market consumer focused e-commerce / software / wireless / software product management, with clear results in operational excellence, process optimisation and roadmap prioritization across multiple business areas
- Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, schedule trade-offs and opportunistic new ideas with technical and non-technical employees
- Experience of working with very senior stakeholders across multiple time zones
- Strong skills in Jira and Confluence
- Comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
