Associate - Underground Structures

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Associate - Underground Structures to join our team in Singapore, Singapore. In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of underground structures, working closely with senior engineers and project managers to ensure the successful execution of complex underground construction projects.- Assist in the design and analysis of underground structures, including tunnels, underground stations, and deep foundations- Develop and review technical drawings and specifications using CAD software- Perform structural calculations and analysis to ensure the safety and stability of underground structures- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including geotechnical engineers and construction professionals- Participate in site visits and inspections to assess existing conditions and monitor construction progress- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders- Stay updated on local building codes, regulations, and industry best practices- Support the development of cost estimates and project schedules- Assist in the preparation of proposals and tender documents for new projects

**Qualifications**- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field- At least 10 years of experience in underground structure design or a related field- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software- Experience with structural analysis software- Strong knowledge of underground construction techniques and geotechnical principles- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Singapore- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment- Effective communication and teamwork skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not a must- Willingness to participate in occasional site visits and inspections- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
