**Responsibilities**:

- Design and develop simulation test frameworks and tools to validate autonomous driving algorithms, path planning and control modules.
- Create and maintain realistic and diverse simulation scenarios using platforms like CARLA or Virtual Test Drive to evaluate the behavior and performance of the autonomous driving software.
- Collaborate with software developers and system engineers to understand requirements and translate them into effective simulation test cases.
- Implement and execute automated simulation tests to perform continuous integration and regression testing of autonomous driving features.
- Analyze simulation test results and provide clear and concise reports to stakeholders, highlighting any issues or anomalies found during testing.
- Identify and address edge cases and corner scenarios to ensure the robustness and safety of the autonomous driving system.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in simulation technology and testing methodologies for autonomous vehicles.
- Contribute to the improvement of simulation test processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance overall testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in safety assessments and validation activities to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of simulation testing with overall software development and testing processes.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing simulation tests for autonomous driving systems or related fields.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, or similar, with experience in simulation environments and tools.
- Familiarity with simulation platforms like CARLA, Virtual Test Drive, or similar.
- Knowledge of sensor technologies used in autonomous vehicles, such as LiDAR, RADAR, cameras, and GPS.
- Understanding of autonomous driving algorithms, perception, control systems, and software architectures.
- Experience with test automation frameworks, version control systems and continuous integration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving challenges.
